Ingredients
- 4 baking apples, such as Granny Smith
- 2 Tb cinnamon sugar
- 1 ts ground nutmeg
- 4 Tb butter
Procedure
Peel, core, and slice apples into thin slices. Divide evenly between four microwave-safe bowls.
Divide remaining ingredients between bowls. Dot apples with butter and sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon sugar.
Microwave on HIGH setting for 5-10 minutes, or until apples are tender but not mushy.
Serving suggestions
Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, or serve with hunks of French bread and cheddar cheese.
